Healthy Habits for Kids Program
A creative, original, interactive and fun presentation, that encourages prep age children to take responsibility for their own health and well-being through education about healthy habits.
During the 45-minute presentation, children will learn about healthy lifestyle practices such as exercise, sleep, emotional health, hygiene, and healthy eating. Sarah includes a variety of fun and engaging learning tools to deliver this important content.

CHILDREN HAVE A STRONG SENSE OF WELLBEING - Children take increasing responsibility for their own health and physical wellbeing. Children become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.
CHILDREN ARE CONFIDENT AND INVOLVED LEARNERS - Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity.
CHILDREN ARE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATORS - Children interact verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes. Children express ideas and make meaning using a range of media.
At the moment this program is being delivered in the Cairns region with plans to expand digital resources in the near future.
